With a little help from my friends *possible NSFW**Closed to Sara*
Jessie groaned, her instincts to reach for the lump on her head. Unfortunately the chains holding her upright made that impossible. She slowly opened her eyes, blurry vision slowly revealing what looked to be a prison cell. Her throat was bone dry, as she turned her head revealing some equipment Jessie was unfortunately too familiar with. Apparently they'd figured out that she wasn't a buyer, but an undercover cop. She lowered her head, awaiting her fate. This gang had already tortured and killed several cops, so her odds and fate weren't looking all that good. That didn't stop her from trying to glare at whoever it was coming into her cell.

You lost them? How did -
"We're in the warehouse district sir and you know what a maze it can be over here at time. We'll find her again, don't worry" Matthews told their commanding officer, Skip Adams, through their video communications.
What's your course of action?
"Lieutenant Stone will be going from rooftop to rooftop to see if there's any way of getting a visual as to what's going on in these buildings. We've eliminated about 3 of them as they are legitimate business that are still functioning, so that leaves us with 4" Scott explained
And you know once you've discovered them and made sure Lt Cmdr Reynolds is safe, call backup and get it all shut down. We've trailed these rats enough and it's time to trap and drown them! Adams, out And the screen went black as Scott sighed closing the laptop before hearing a beep on his phone. "Martinez here"
I've found them. They're in the 4th building. I don't see Reynolds though - over
"How many's in the building? - over" Scott asked, a bit concerned when he heard he hadn't found Jessie, even though they'd clearly seen her leave with the suspect.
From the ones I can see, there's about 20 - 25 - and firepower strong - over
"Damn" Scott sighed looking at Lamont. He really wanted to go ahead and call backup, but he needed confirmation about Jessie first before they did anything to hopefully make sure she wasn't being put in further danger.
"What's wrong?" Lamont asked sipping at his soda. "Is it too much for us to deal with?"
"Yeah by ourselves, definitely. And there's no visual on Reynolds either" Scott sighed. "Stone, get a visual on Reynolds before returning - over"
I'll try but no promise. Visual is limited here - over
Scott sat down the phone as he shook his head. 'Jessie where the heck are you?'

"You sonuvabitch. How long have you been working both sides?" Jessie asked, furious.
"Like you don't know. Nothing personal, Reynolds. You should feel lucky, though. I wanted to kill you years back." Harper said, getting a growl from her. She jerked more on those chains, her head tilting back.
"You understand you're a dead man, don't you?" Jessie asked, getting a laugh, as the man landed a kick to her stomach.

A hidden figure made its way through the shadows, making sure to stay out of visual from the leftover guards still stationed with the other members taking care of their other deal as they got close to where they heard grunts and groans of the female prisoner.

"You really are one stupid bitch, aren't you?" Harper said, laughing, as he inserted the tip into her upper chest, dragging it just deep enough to hurt, "I'm going to enjoy cutting your bitch ass up after they get done with you." He said, his eyes meeting Jessie's thousand yard stare ones.

"Go behind those crates and do not move until I come back for you" they instructed her before vanishing like a ghost.

"What the fuck?! I told them - " Captain Adams picked up his phone to call the other officers, just as Martinez fell into step.
"Sir, did you order this strike? We didn't -"
Adams looked seeing Martinez and Stone there looking bewildered as he was.
"What the hell?! If you two are out here, then who -?"
"It wasn't any of us sir. Stone was on his way back to give us an update when we heard the noise. Why are you here?"
"We received an anonymous tip that there was a weapons and drug deal going on here" the captain explained.
"Anyways, lets move out!" Adams commanded the rest of the squad as they went in, arms bared.
Meanwhile, in the midst of that confusion, someone tapped Jessie's shoulder "Jessie, come on. We've got to go" but it would be someone she wasn't expecting to see...

"I'll...try to keep up." Jessie said, nodding at her, as they made their way outside among the smoke and gunfire. She couldn't believe that it was Sara that saved her ass. She wanted to kiss her. Hug her and cry. Do something. But right now, there were much bigger things to worry about.

No, this wasn't the normal Sara Jessie knew; this was the TRUE Sara.

"Sara?" Jessie asked, almost in a whisper as Sara looked her over. She was bruised and bloddied, that tended to happen when you got worked over. Jessie gave that hand a tight squeeze. She wanted to hug her and weep. But right now, she was taking her cues from Sara. The last thing she would do is anything to expose her.

The look in her eyes was different, even if she may have sounded the same. Jessie was never supposed to see her like this.
"Listen to me. My group has been following this organization for a while, so our being here the same as your group is coincidental, ok? If they ask you what happened, just tell them the chain broke due to the explosion and you fell, ok?" she stood up as she looked to see one of her members standing nearby as she moved to leave.

"Reynolds! There she is, chief...." She heard one of the MP's say, and fell to the ground too exhausted to move.

She still couldn't believe that was Sara. She moved like a ninja, practically soundless. And she was deadly accurate, luckily for Jessie. But she still had fifty million questions.

She really shouldn't be here...

"Hey, beautiful." Jessie said, her voice soft, as she stepped back to let her in, "You're not getting in trouble, are you?" Jessie asked, a little worried, before shutting the door. With it closed, she hugged Sara tightly, trying not to cry.

She followed Jessie inside as she hugged her back. "Be careful. I don't want you to reinjure yourself" she smiled kissing the top of her head.
no subject
"I don't care. I wouldn't even be here without you." Jessie said, still not letting her go. When she finally did, she kissed Sara softly. She led her to the living room, motioning to her couch.

"I'm doing OK. I'm still really stiff because I was chained up there for quite a while. My ribs are bruised, so I've got to be a little careful with lifting and moving too quickly. Other than that and bruises, I'm OK. Thanks to you," Jessie looked deep into her eyes, "Thank you. I owe you my life." Jessie said, as fact.

"Not exactly. They had to pop my shoulders back into joint, and they did a muscle fusion surgery to help with that. But that's mostly healed now." Unless you counted it for the stiffness Jessie moved with, "If you hadn't shown up, it would've been a lot worse." Jessie said, shaking her head, "I don't know how, but you seem to know when I'm in trouble." Jessie said, her voice soft.
