The group didn't realize that they were being watched by a certain group who'd had their eye on them for some time, only having scattered clues until recently when one of their contacts had come through with a big lead that had solidified their search.

They weren't expecting to having to deal with a hostage situation though; they were just hoping to take out the group and shut down their operation once and for all.

"So what do we do now?" one subordinate asked his leaders, while one came back over to make plans, but the other continued to watch the group as they tortured the hostage and they couldn't tell who it was until they moved away from her as a small gasp escape their lips.
